Colours, a British promoting agency, has been bringing the world’s biggest DJs to Scotland since 1995. In only the last four months, the Glaswegian promoters have been responsible for attracting massive acts like Bingo Players, W&W, Zedd, Paul Van Dyk, Laidback Luke, Fatboy Slim, Showtek, 2manydjs, Sander Van Doorn, Nicky Romero, Chuckie, and many more to Scotland. Colours has turned Glasgow into one of Europe’s top all year round party destinations. Because of them, today we see Glasgow gigs on nearly every european tour.

This Saturday on February 1st, Colours will celebrate its 19th anniversary with a massive “birthday” event that features a stacked lineup that includes the likes of MAKJ, Ferry Corsten, Benny Benassi, Blasterjaxx, Tall Paul, Marco VGiuseppe Ottaviani, Sied Van Riel, and many more at the famous Arches in Glasgow, Scotland. The event will be held from 10:30 PM to 5:00 AM.

The show will be one of the biggest for rising star MAKJ, who is currently embarking on his first european tour. While this will be Benny Benassi and Ferry Corsten‘s last european gigs for a while as the American music festival season edges closer with the approach of Spring.

This event is a must-see for any EDM fan in Scotland or even northern England. For anyone who has never been to The Arches before: you don’t know what you are in for. The Arches has been ranked in previous DJ Mag polls as the 12th best club in the world. The Arches is a massive venue located directly underground Glasgow’s Central Railway Station in arched brick tunnels that used to be used by trains using the train station. Here are some photos:

As I said before, this is a must see event for anyone who lives in northern Britain. I have seen MAKJ, Ferry Corsten, and Benny Benassi multiple times and they’ve never failed at impressing me. In addition, this will be MAKJ‘s debut UK gig. For anyone down south who cannot make the show, Ferry Corsten will be playing tonight Friday, January 31st at the Ministry of Sound in London. You can find MAKJ‘s remaining european tour dates here:

Armin Van Buuren‘s weekly radio show A State of Trance celebrates it’s 650th episode tonight. The prominent radio show has been running continuously for nearly thirteen years now. You will be able to watch a livestream of his 650th A State of Trance episode broadcasted from Moscow, Russia by clicking HERE. The episode will begin at 7:00 PM GMT (UK) and 2:00 PM EST (Eastern US).

Five-time DJ MAG #1 DJ Armin Van Buuren takes his ASOT milestones very seriously. Last year, he celebrated ASOT 600 by announcing a world tour with lineups exhibiting the world’s best trance artists. I was lucky enough to catch the sold out ASOT 600 NYC show at Madison Square Garden last March which featured acts like Alex MORPH, Armin Van Buuren, W&W, and New World Punx (Ferry Corsten & Markus Schulz b2b). This year, Armin Van Buuren is celebrating his 650th episode by hosting what will be the largest trance event of the year in Utrecht, Netherlands on the night of February 15th (9PM to 7AM CET). The show will feature four stages inside of the massive Jaarbeurs Center with a killer lineup that includes:
